NASA JPL’s Perseverance Rover send pictures of MEDA activation to measure Mars’ atmospheric pressure and temperature on March 1, 2021. Pictures are from the rover’s Left Navigation Camera (Navcam). The camera is located high on the rover's mast and aids in driving. Technically rover’s MEDA studies the Dusty Environment, helps Predict Weather, measures Radiation, measures Water Vapor, shows Weather's Impact. Radiation from the sun and space can alter traces of any past life in Mars rocks. MEDA helps scientists understand these changes and tells them what to look for. Dust drives chemical processes on the surface and in the atmosphere. It affects temperature and weather. MEDA is Mars Environmental Dynamics Analyzer.
