Curiosity Rover spotted Martian Clouds, Dust Tornado and Water-smoothed ...

On March 5, 2021 NASA’s Curiosity Rover send HI-RES panoramic image from MARS’ Mont Mercou site as well as Martian Clouds, Dust Tornado and Water-smoothed Rocks. All images are non-edited to see Mars in real colors. Martian clouds and dust tornado are animated (collected from series of images). Mounted on the mast (the rover "neck and head"), these black-and-white cameras use visible light to gather panoramic, three-dimensional (3D) imagery. The navigation camera unit is a stereo pair of cameras, each with a 45-degree field of view that supports ground navigation planning by scientists and engineers. They work in cooperation with the hazard avoidance cameras by providing a complementary view of the terrain. All images and animations are from Thomas Appéré – associate teacher of Physics-Chemistry-NSI @stpaulstgeorges | PhD Doctor in Planetology Credit: nasa.gov, NASA/JPL-Caltech, NASA/JPL-Caltech/MSSS/Thomas Appéré Thomas Appéré’s Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/thomasa... #mars #clouds #curiosity
